Women's T shirts and base layers

These gorgeous tees are made from a slightly lighter-grade version of the 70/30 bamboo and organic cotton material used for the Trail Tees (115g instead of 150g) to provide an even softer, lighter and more flowing feel – very much like brushed silk. They are cut with a wider neckline and more tailored fit and have the same performance qualities, ethical and eco-credentials as the Trail Tees, but specifically designed to fit and look great on women.

As our Principles page explains, we at Whackjob place ethical and environmental considerations at the centre of our business. So – each Whackjob shirt is:

  • Made in a factory Audited by the Fairwear Foundation to ensure it subscribes to the Fairwear Foundation code of practice (ensuring everyone involved has the same rights as UK workers)
  • Traceable right from source, with emissions minimised (no air freight here)
  • Printed in the UK on a t-shirt made from 70% bamboo fibre & 30% organic cotton using environmentally friendly, water-based inks
  • Hand finished in England by nice people in a nice place – not drones in a huge factory.

All this makes Whackjob Women’s Tees cost a little more than a normal cotton t-shirt, but still a lot less than the equivalent man-made fibre tech shirt, and way more likely to make you want to wear it when you’re not on your bike.
